The Gulf Coast Council welcomes Will Summers, retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer and member of the ODA 595 Special Forces team that was the first to land in Afghanistan in response to the attacks on 9/11. ODA 595's historic and unconventional warfare experience earned them the "The Horse Soldiers" moniker, the namesake for Horse Soldier Bourbon. Summers, now the Brand Ambassador for Horse Soldier Bourbon, will host a special plated dinner and a guided tasting of the three different varieties of Horse Soldier Bourbon, and he will share his first-hand account of his experience in Afghanistan following 9/11.
