2025 Gumbo Ya-Ya Cookoff

Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWFL is excited to announce our 2025 Gumbo Ya-Ya cookoff at Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola is set to take place on May 17th from 4pm-6pm. Amateur and professional cooking teams will compete for bragging rights for the best gumbo in Pensacola. As part of the rules, the three person teams have to make the gumbo from scratch. Judges will then have the very difficult job of deciding which teams will win various categories. Each gumbo will be judged on taste, smell, color, and consistency. Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners. Tickets are on sale now for $15.00. Prices will increase to $20.00 at the door.
