Description
One beautiful expression of the holidays on the Blackwater River is Milton’s Lighted Christmas Boat
Parade set against our city’s waterfront Festival of Lights. Each year our community comes together, light up
their boats and conducts one of the largest lighted boat parades in Northwest Florida.
This year we would like to invite you and your boat to join us. At 5 pm we assemble the boats in front of
Russell Harbor Park next to the Highway 90 Bridge. If you did not sign up early, don’t worry — our Parade
Marshall will go boat-to-boat and get you registered and ready to go with instructions. This is a ‘tween bridges
event. We depart the park and simply follow the lead boat, head south to the eastern shorelines, turn at the
railroad trestle and cross to the Riverwalk where we head north and greet the parade goers. Once we get to
the end of the Riverwalk, we make a couple of circles and then dock for the trophy presentation. Fireworks to
follow.
Sign up today, mail your registrations to: Blackwater Pyrates - PO Box 751 - Bagdad, fL 32530
